Six months old

Can you believe it’s been six months since Eva was born?  I can’t. I just went back and looked at a few pictures from the week she came home.  I had forgotten how little and squishy she was.  I seem to get it into my mind that my babies are so big and grown up, but then they grow and I realize they were far more precious.

Eva had her six month appointment a few weeks ago, but had a cold. Poor baby. She ended up on breathing treatments for a week.  They seemed to clear her up and she’s doing better after breathing treatments, antibiotics and immunizations.  Her digestion may not be the same for a while, though.

The doctor was floored at how well she is sitting up and said she probably won’t roll until after she starts crawling. She is in the 95% for her height and weight, and her head is in the 75%. Far better than Hayden’s was! She has started going from sitting to laying on her tummy, so crawling is just a matter of time. She eats cereal and vegetables and Loves to drink prune juice (poor baby) out of a sippy cup (with Momma’s help). Eva’s chatter is darling and her cheeks make her the talk of any room.
